Understanding the scope, responsibilities, and commitments of my services

Nature of Services

This platform provides educational, academic, research, and manuscript preparation support for students, researchers, healthcare professionals, and academicians. Services are intended to guide participants through various stages of research, academic writing, and publication preparation.

The primary scope of support includes research guidance, academic writing training, manuscript development, editing, formatting, journal identification, and submission assistance. Once the agreed service has been completed, the core academic support obligation shall be considered fulfilled.

Author Responsibility

The final accuracy, authenticity, originality, scientific validity, ethical compliance, and integrity of any manuscript remain the sole responsibility of the author(s).

Authors are responsible for verifying all data, references, ethical approvals, patient consent requirements, statistical analyses, and institutional permissions before submission.

Research Ethics Statement

Academic integrity is a fundamental requirement of all research and publication activities. Any form of fabrication, falsification, plagiarism, duplicate submission, data manipulation, image manipulation, ghost authorship, gift authorship, undisclosed conflicts of interest, or other forms of research misconduct are strictly prohibited.

Authors are solely responsible for ensuring that all submitted work complies with applicable ethical standards, institutional requirements, and journal policies.

Support services may be suspended or terminated immediately if evidence of academic misconduct, unethical research practices, or intentional misrepresentation is identified at any stage of the research, writing, submission, or publication process.

No Guarantee of Publication

Publication of a manuscript cannot be guaranteed under any circumstances. Editorial decisions are made independently by journals through their editorial and peer-review processes. Acceptance, rejection, revision requests, withdrawal, publication delays, indexing status, or any other publication outcome are beyond my control.

I do not guarantee:

  • ◆ Journal acceptance
  • ◆ Publication in any specific journal
  • ◆ PubMed, Scopus, Web of Science, Embase, or other indexation
  • ◆ Editorial approval or peer-review outcomes
  • ◆ Publication timelines or citation performance

Journal Selection Support

Where publication support is requested, journals may be suggested based on: scope and suitability, indexation status, publication costs, review timelines, and author preferences.

As a general approach, preference may initially be given to suitable Scopus- or PubMed-indexed journals with no author publication charges where available and appropriate. If such journals are unsuitable or unsuccessful, alternative indexed journals with publication charges may be considered after discussion with the author(s).

Other journal categories may also be considered based on author preference, including journals indexed in Scopus, PubMed, Embase, DOAJ, ESCI, and other recognised databases. Final journal selection always remains with the author(s).

Publication Charges

Publication fees, article processing charges (APCs), submission fees, editing fees charged by journals, open-access fees, and any other journal-related expenses are not included in my service fees unless specifically stated in writing.

Any such charges shall be paid directly by the author(s) to the respective journal or publisher.

Independence from Journals

I do not own, manage, represent, or have formal agreements with any journal, publisher, indexing agency, editorial board, or peer-review service. I do not influence editorial decisions and cannot expedite publication processes.

Predatory Journal Policy

I strongly discourage submission to predatory, misleading, or unethical journals. Journal recommendations are made solely on academic merit, indexation status, publication ethics, affordability, and author requirements.

Authors are never compelled to submit to any specific journal or to pay publication charges against their wishes.

Refund Policy

Refunds shall not be provided based on journal-related outcomes, including but not limited to: manuscript rejection, requests for revision, delays in peer review, delays in publication, journal withdrawal, editorial decisions, changes in journal policies, or retractions or corrections after publication.

This is because academic guidance, educational materials, manuscript support, and research training would have already been delivered during the service period.

Limitation of Responsibility

I shall not be held responsible for: editorial decisions made by journals, peer-review comments, manuscript rejection, author disputes, authorship disagreements, ethical concerns arising from submitted data, blacklisting of authors or manuscripts, retractions after publication, or changes in journal policies or indexing status.

Such matters remain under the authority of the journal, publisher, institution, and author(s).
